Campus survivors can now safely connect and explore their options, whether or not they report.

What is Callisto Vault?

Callisto Vault is an encrypted platform that enables campus survivors to securely document a sexual assault and/or match with others harmed by the same perpetrator. Survivors can use our platform regardless of who the offender is, when or where the assault took place, and whether or not they choose to report. Our cutting-edge technology protects and empowers survivors, while increasing the likelihood that repeat perpetrators will be detected and held accountable. Click below to learn more.

*All survivors in the U.S. and its territories with an active .edu email address from any college have access to Callisto Vault — including students, staff, faculty, and even some alumni!

Our Tools

Callisto Vault consists of two tools: the Matching System & the Incident Log.
Survivors can use one or both.

Matching System

Callisto’s Matching System allows survivors to determine whether their perpetrator harmed others without having to publicly disclose or report to authorities. To enter into Matching, survivors only need to provide: the state where the incident occurred, unique identifiers of the perpetrator (i.e. social handles, phone, or email), and contact information should there be a match.

If 2 or more survivors enter the same unique identifier, a match occurs and all matched survivors receive free & confidential legal options counseling.

Incident Log

Callisto’s Incident Log allows survivors to create a detailed and timestamped record of their sexual assault as they decide what steps, if any, they might like to take next. This tool can assist survivors in processing through trauma and can serve as a reference should they choose to report (now or in the future).

*A survivor doesn’t need to create an Incident Log to enter into Matching (or vice versa).

Callisto Vault FAQs

  • Absolutely! You can enter any perpetrator, as long as you know (or can find out) at least 1 unique identifier: phone, email, or social media handle.

  • No. Your information is encrypted and secure. The only person who will be notified is a legal options counselor if (and ONLY if) there is a match.

  • While access is currently limited to those with an active .edu email, we encourage survivors to check with their school, as many can access to their .edu email longer than they realize. We are also working tirelessly to expand!
