SA Orgs Are Being Starved For Funding

(And it’s by design)

Did you know that LESS than 2% of philanthropic giving in the United States directly benefits women and girls?

That includes Susan G. Komen!

In recent weeks, we have seen overwhelming and unprecedented restrictions, freezes, and threats of investigations that are starving sexual assault nonprofits from the vital resources they need to remain open.

So, what can you DO?

  • Call your representatives and demand that they do everything in their power to unfreeze federal funds needed to support survivors.

  • Share information (like forwarding this email) so others are aware and can join together to fight for change.

  • Donate what you can to organizations like Callisto that are fighting to empower survivors...and decrease the chances that serial perpetrators will be in a position to determine if survivor support orgs get funding.

Thank you for continuing to stand with us in fighting for survivors. They need your support now more than ever.

Interested in doing even more to support our work as we head into April, Sexual Assault Assault Awareness Month? Email us at development@projectcallisto.org. We'd love to chat!
