Passing the Torch

We are thrilled to welcome our new Board Chair:

Tracey Breeden!

"I am honored to be appointed as the chairperson of Callisto. Sexual violence is a violation of human rights that knows no boundaries and affects every industry, institution and community. Tech innovations like Callisto are impactful solutions that provide tremendous opportunity to drive awareness, prevention, and disruption of harm, empowering survivors and promoting meaningful social change. I look forward to working with my fellow board members to advance Callisto's mission."

~Tracey Breeden

Tracey is a thought leader, speaker, advisor, author, and activist. From street cop to corporate executive, she spent over two decades as a safety and inclusion expert in public safety and leading efforts in Tech at Uber and Match Group, parent company of Tinder and Hinge. Her vision is to build authentic, equitable, and respectful communities, free from harm.

In addition to becoming Callisto’s new Board Chair, Tracey is the CEO and founder of Disrupt the Landing. She also recently released her book Match-Striking for Beginners: Activating individual and collective power for a more just world, inspiring people from all walks of life to create organizational and societal change.

Tracey replaces the outgoing board chair, Jim Fruchterman who was instrumental in leading the organization through the onboarding of a new CEO.

We could not be more grateful for Jim’s unwavering belief in Callisto and his passionate advocacy on behalf of sexual assault survivors.

“I don’t think there’s been an exciting new tech innovation like Callisto in the sexual violence field for a very long time, and it’s exciting that it manages to center the survivors and their agency. It truly has been an honor to serve as Callisto’s Board Chair for the past two years. I have no doubt that Tracey will be a wonderful leader and continue to advance Callisto’s important mission.”

~Jim Fruchterman

Please help us thank Jim for all he has done for Callisto and welcome Tracey to this new role! Learn more about Callisto’s dedicated team below.

We are also in the process of expanding our board. So, if you are interested in joining our team, please consider applying. And don’t hesitate to share with your network!
