A Hero Has Emerged!

Survivors often learn firsthand that there are people in life who will kick you when you're down. Most will just walk by…silently. But a select few will stand with you and (like one of our recent followers) say, "NOT ON MY WATCH!!"

Arnold Ventures has believed in Callisto for a long time, and has even been funding the assessment and restructuring of our Legal Options Counselor program.

When we spoke with them recently to share the news that we would likely have to shut our doors due to a funding crisis, their response (in so many words) was: ABSOLUTELY NOT! Their support for not only our mission, but our team, is inspiring and strengthens our belief that there are people willing to invest in solutions to what others write off as an unsolvable problem.

While not all heroes wear capes, we're granting AV an honorary one!

Please help us thank Arnold Ventures for their overwhelming and unrelenting support. We still have a long way to go to be able to #SaveCallisto. However, these funds will provide our team with the invaluable gift of time, and allow us to continue fighting to secure the remaining funds, at least through the end of November.

If you are a funder who is or has loved a survivor, has known the pain of isolation and injustice, or simply feels outraged every time a news story breaks that yet another high-profile serial perpetrator has shattered lives for years or decades without consequence...please join Arnold Ventures in ensuring Callisto doesn’t simply continue to exist, but can move forward and make the impact we know is possible.

The epidemic of sexual violence within our communities and across campuses, nationwide, does not have to be simply a reality we accept. We have the power to change it. But in order to do so, we're going to need more heroes…and this is a tremendous start.
